Resolve.

Now, let's just get this out in the open: I don't make resolutions. Because, 1: I think you should be constantly growing and changing, and 2: I don't think that change should have a time constraint.

That being said, I would like to adopt a word for 2013:

Are you ready?

It's pretty significant.

Okay, I'll just say it:

Do.

Sorry, was that a bit anticlimactic?

I've really thought a lot about this though. Last semester I was just so busy all the time. Sure I grew a lot and learned a lot, but I didn't necessarily develop certain things that I wanted to develop. So here's to cultivating my adventurous side in 2013. I'm not talking about being irresponsible, I just mean I'm tired of not doing things because i lose the, dare i say, balls, to do it or get to busy to.Whether it be hiking a mountain or taking a road trip or reading a new book or listening to a band i think i'll hate, in 2013 I want to do. The point of all this rambling is that I am 19 years old. And it's about time I got a little braver.

As part of this, I'll be participating in two 365 challenges. Which I can tell you right now will probably turn into about 127 challenges. But that's not the point.

The first: 365 days of yoga. Okay you're thinking I'm trying to turn into this giant hipster, but I'm not. promise. I used to do yoga in high school, and got pretty consistent at it. When you're seventeen and have to come home from school due to crippling back pain, you do something about it. So whether it was making my muscles active or relaxing before a contest, I loved it, and I want to love it again and get decent at it. I could use a little stress release at school. Today I started with just a sun salutation. although by the time i got to it it was more like a moon salutation... MOVING ON.

Annnnnd, the second being a 365 photo challenge. Which you can follow along with HERE!

I have the curse of ambition. Now let's see if I can catch the action bug.

oh i really need to fix my lens hood.
high five for hammer pants, shirts from grandma's closet, and abandoned car cushions.
